The hotel is built on historical ground-and according to the saga, this is where St. Olav in year 1022 fought local opponents in a battle when converting the Vikings to Christianity in Norway. All rooms are tastefully furnished with comfortable beds, bathroom, mini-bar and colour-TV. Standard equipment in all rooms-hair dryer and trouser press. All room rates include a full breakfast buffet. Olavsgaard is ideally located for conferences, with meeting rooms seating from 6 to 270 persons, and indoor exhibition section of 600 square meters.
