Domus Porto Salvo - set in an old Capucin Monks abbey dating back to the sixteenth century - is located in SantAgnello di Sorrento overlooking the beautiful sea of the Bay of Naples. This comfortable residence is surrounded by a large yard planted with citrus trees and other typical Mediterranean plants - in this protected and peaceful spot guests can relax on one of the chaises longues at any time of the day while enjoying the sea breeze. The 20 large - bright rooms have been furnished with taste and simplicity - using natural wood furniture with clean lines and light fabrics and some of the original features of the abbey have been preserved and restored - including the terracotta flooring and antique arches. The rooms all enjoy a view - either of the sea or the peaceful garden that surrounds the property. A variety of accommodation options are available - from single rooms through to rooms sleeping up to four people - all completely equipped for disabled guests and offering heating - air conditioning and a television - most rooms also have an ensuite bathroom - please confirm when booking. The public areas have been designed in keeping with their former functions in the abbey - the refectory has become the breakfast room and the recreation areas have been turned into a cafe with tables and chairs - a TV room and a reading room.
