The UNA Hotel Malpensa is ideally located close to a major motorway junction on the link to the Milan Malpensa Airport, nearby RHO-PERO fair centre. The facility, designed by architect Renzo Costa, draws inspiration from its location and it is an impressive example of architecture in movement. The junction element that visually connects the hotel with the multi screen cinema and the mall, it s a trapezoidal and cuneiform volume that allows an independent access to the restaurant, in the first floor of the building. This ramp, made of stone and porphyry communication trenches, represents a trail that plainly goes trough the restyled Italian garden. What identifies the main entrance is a wavy blade, made of red metal that runs across the whole construction. Such a division creates areas for the reception and the shunting of other services- a bar and a restaurant in the first and second floor.
