“Greif” is the German word for “griffin”, the mythical creature with a lion’s body and an eagle’s wings, beak and talons. Just as the griffin combines diverse strengths, Hotel Greif offers an exclusive setting between tradition and modernity; a perfect starting point for a trip around northern Italy’s Dolomites. The Grifoncino Lounge Bar offers guests an ideal place to break the traffic of everyday life out. The hotel buffet breakfast provides homemade jam and cakes prepared with local and organic products. The 33 guest rooms were individually designed by the Viennese architect Boris Podrecca in collaboration with the owner Franz Staffler, whose family has owned this property since 1816. Some are split-level lofts, some feature terraces and bay windows; others steam saunas or whirlpool baths, one even has a grand piano. Each room also displays a specially commissioned artwork by a different artist, and even the bathrooms are each lined with their own special marble. To really get to know Hotel Greif, you’ll need at least 33 nights … one for each room

Guarantee: 30Mar2010 to 30Apr2027 - All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card which is valid on the day of arrival. Non-guaranteed reservations are not accepted.
Cancellation Policy
Cancel 2 Day Before Arrival. Cancellation penalty is 1 nights including tax. Reservations must be cancelled or modified latest at 12noon hotel time 2 days prior to arrival to avoid a fee of 1 night stay including tax. No-Show fee: 100% of the full stay
