Very nice and Luxurious accommodations are attractively scattered throughout a magnificent palm grove, overlooking the Atlantic. Ours is one of the longest and best-established dive operations of the Bahamas. We specialize in guest-selected dive excursions. Long Island is uncrowded, socially stable and peaceful. It represents the "old" - the "Out Island" ways. It is hardly touched by modern tourism. Some 35 quaint villages and prosperous farming towns house some 3500 inhabitants, the island's main industries being farming and fishing. Points of interest are plantation ruins and Indian caves, historic churches and salt salinas, fish and shrimp farms and pineapple plantations. One visit will make Stella Maris your Island Home.
