    Restaurants  De Ville Restaurant Designed by world renowned interior designer, Stephen Ryan, deVille Restaurant has been fashioned for those who wish to dine in a relaxed and elegant atmosphere, whilst trying the delicious modern British cuisine devised by our Executive Head Chef. Enjoy a very traditional English tea, which is served in a private area off deVille Restaurant. The decor of the dining room is emphasised by the modern, large patterned, floral wallpaper motif punctuated by theatrical clear Perspex framed paintings and Venetian mask wall lights. Silver, Weimeraner brown and white are the key colours of the stylish deVille Restaurant. Lunch is served in the restaurant between 11.00am and 3.00pm. Dinner is served between 7.00pm and 11.00pm. Reservations: 020 7935 4040. deVigne Bar The glorious surroundings and vibrant colours of red, yellow, green and silver in deVigne Bar make this a truly fabulous place which is rarely found in London these days.     Geography
    The British landscape can be divided roughly into two kinds of terrain – highland and lowland. The highland area comprises the mountainous regions of Scotland, Northern Ireland, northern England and North Wales. The English Lake District in the northwest contains lakes and fells. The lowland area is broken up by sandstone and limestone hills, long valleys and basins such as the Wash on the east coast. In the southeast, the North and South Downs culminate in the White Cliffs of Dover. The coastline includes fjord-like inlets in the northwest of Scotland, spectacular cliffs and wild sandy beaches on the east coast and, further south, beaches of rock, shale and sand sometimes backed by dunes, and large areas of fenland in East Anglia.
