There is the local bus called Sita that takes you to the center of Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, Sorrento, and many other places on the Amalfi-Sorrento Coast. For excursions to Pompei, Herculaneum and Naples, if you prefer not to drive there is the Sita bus to Sorrento and from there a local train called the Circumvesuviana that can continue you onto your destination. For those who prefer organized excursions, there are local agencies with guides available to Pompeii & Vesuvius, Herculaneum & Sorrento, Naples, Paestum and Rome.

    From Rome reach the main road "A1"direction south (Napoli) and, after leaving Napoli, take the main road "A3" to Napoli - Salerno (Not Tangenziale Napoli). At Castellammare di Stabia, take the road to Sorrento and at Meta di Sorrento take the road to Positano - Praiano. Look for the Hotel Onda Verde on your right. You will only see the parking area from the road. Pull your car in and, as your look at the car park, on the left, you will see the entrance of the elevator that brings you to the reception.
