The Hotel is set in nine acres of lush green and beautifully landscaped gardens and has a pool, health club and jogging track. Rooms have been tastefully renovated with speaker phones, International direct dial facility with data ports and high speed internet connectivity, minibar, channel music, interactive televisions with satelite channels, 24hours room service and an inhouse laundry. Room size is a minimum of 350 square feet. Choice of inhouse dining options include Chinese, Indian and an International fare. The restuarants and the lobby have been renovated in March 2001.     The Hotel is located in the prestigious Banjara Hills which is in the heart of the city centre, business location, secretariat and government offices. Hotel is closest tyo Hi tech city(software and EDP centre) which is a 20 minutes drive. Located 5km from the airport and is a fifteen minute drive. The Hotel is at an elevation there by having an un-obstructed view of the lake and the city. Also within the close proximity of the Hotel(1km radius) are a choice of two other Taj Group Hotels namely Taj Banjara and Taj Residency. Hi Tech City - Information Technology Centre, which houses major IT companies like Microsoft, Oracle, Intel, Baan etc. Business District - Financial institutions, information technology centres and government offices. Salarjung Museum - A collection of art objects by Nawab Salar Jung II, this museum houses magnificent exhibits of European and Indian paintings and statuary of special interest is the Jade Room containing priceless objects, which belonged to ancient Indian rulers, like Aurangazeb, Tipu Sultan Shah Jahan and the Asaf Jahs of Hyderabad. Birla Mandir - overlooking the Tank Bund, the Birla Mandir presents an arresting sight when illuminated in the evening. This magnificent structure built entirely out of marble from Rajasthan, stands atop the Kala Pahad, the twin hillock of the Naubat Pahad built by Birla Foundation over a span of ten years, the main temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara. Nehru Zoological Park - Spreads over 300 acres and is one of the largest in Asia. Large recreational parks, gardens, a mini train and animal rides, make it an ideal spot for a picnic.
