Traditional harbour festivals in the Baltic seaside resorts around the Kiel Bay await the guests with their maritime ambience. For example: In the Original Holsteiner Räucherkate opposite we organize traditional local celebrations with music from the coast, Holstein home smoked ham and schnapps. In addition to tickets for the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival and for all cultural events in Kiel, we organise (on request) a corresponding activity program with a shuttle service and an expert guide for independent travellers and tourist parties.

Geography The Federal Republic of Germany shares frontiers with Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Poland and Switzerland. The northwest of the country has a coastline on the North Sea with islands known for their health resorts, while the Baltic coastline in the northeast stretches from the Danish to the Polish border.
The country is divided into 16 states (Bundesländer), including the formerly divided city of Berlin.
