Take the A23 Hamburg-Itzehoe-Husum, take the B5 from Itzehoe to Brunsbuettel-Nord (cross the bridge over the Kiel Canal). St. Michaelisdonn is 8 km from there.
Take the A7 Kiel-Neumuenster-Hamburg. In Neumuenster take the B430 to Schenefeld, take the A23 Heide-Husum to Schafstedt; after leaving the A23 go in direction of Suederhastedt; from Suederhastedt follow the signs to St. Michaelisdonn.
