Haifa International Film Festival

Founded in 1983, the Haifa International Film Festival is held each year during the holiday of Succoth on the ridge of Mount Carmel, and is one of the most important film celebrations in Israel. The growing audience of 60,000 spectators and thousands more press and film professionals take part in the activities of the festival, including outdoor events, screenings, workshops and more. The eight-day celebration covers 150 new films, including feature films, documentaries, animation, short films and tributes.
