Cycle South Carolina

Cycle South Carolina is a six-day, 400 mile (about 640km) cycle tour, beginning and ending in Charleston, which takes in some of South Carolina’s most beautiful and historic scenery. It is an immensely popular event (space is limited to 500 riders); both with South Carolinans, and cyclists from elsewhere in America, who appreciate the opportunity to spend some time on the road, while at the same time enjoying the splendor of the pine- and palmetto-filled landscape. Nightly entertainment (including a Jimmy Buffet cover band!) is provided at all the rest stops. All proceeds from the tour go to UMRC, a non-profit charity organization that focuses on social upliftment in underprivileged areas of South Carolina.
