Day 01: Vilanculos, Mozambique - Benguerua Island
Arrive Vilanculos International Airpot, you are met by a lodge representative for road transfer to the Donna Anna jetty. Guests will have to identify luggage before it is loaded on the vehicle and boats. Boat transfer to Benguerua Island. The Marlin Lodge is situated on the southwest shore of Benguerua Island, the second largest island in the Bazaruto Archipelago off the coast of Mozambique. Days 02, 03, 04: Benguerua Island
Enjoy your days at leisure, or book some of the many excursions (extra cost) available at the lodge. The Island is set amid translucent waters flecked with dhow sails and rich in marine life - an unspoiled paradise for those seeking a haven of peace, something extraordinary. Activities from the lodge include: sundowner cruises, Deep-sea fishing, game fishing (marlin and sailfish), surfcasting, saltwater fly-fishing, scuba, snorkeling, Pansy Island sports, Aquarium adventure, island drives, Dhow sailing, visits to Vilanculos and day trips around the island, wind-surfing, catamaran sailing, kite-flying, ocean ski-paddling, water-skiing, para-sailing, knee-boarding and water-snaking. Enjoy a sumptuous farewell breakfast in the breakfast room. A last opportunity to view the crystal clear water of the bay and the colorful dhows gliding past. After breakfast the check-out procedures follows, last minute photographs and bidding farewell to the hosts before the boat transfer to the jetty and Vilanculos International Airport.
