Tour Overview
With 1778km of coastline and 1185 offshore islands, the Dalmatian Coast is one of the true wonders of Europe. Said to have the clearest waters in the Mediterranean, and undoubtedly packed with historic and cultural interest, cycling through its islands is a unique experience. From our arrival in Split almost until we reach Dubrovnik, our journey takes place on the long and beautiful islands of Hvar and Korcula, travelling by bike and ferry. The scenery alternates between seaside villages, tiny mediaeval walled towns and lovely quiet pebble bays, set against a backdrop of pine forests and mountains. Our final leg takes us to the red roofs of Dubrovnik, the proud port city that once rivalled Venice in wealth and influence. We have two nights here to soak up the atmosphere of this uniquely preserved destination.
