    The annual Dylan Thomas Festival celebrates Wales' most famous poet with two weeks of events and entertainment. Each year, visitors can enjoy a great mixture of readings, talks, theatre, music, art, film and celebrity guests with Louis de Bernieres, Keith Floyd and filmmaker Peter Greenaway having attended in the previous years. The annual festival begins on Dylan's birth date, 27 October, and finishes on the date of his death, 9 November. During these two weeks, the Dylan Thomas Centre and other venues across Swansea Bay present various literary events, plays, musical performances, Dylan trails and exhibitions.
