On this beautiful outdoor rink, skaters can really get in the Christmas spirit in a stunning location that overlooks the River Thames. Expect music, mulled wine, Christmas lights and a fantastic atmosphere. Somerset House, just off the Strand, is located on the site of an earlier Tudor Palace. The present building was built in the late 18th century, and the courtyard reopened to the public in 2000. Because of this event's popularity it is advisable to book early.
