The triathlon calendar kicks off with the Blenheim Triathlon, set within the stunning confines of Blenheim Palace. With more than 4,000 entries, this is the second largest triathlon in the UK and provides the ideal course for beginners as well as top athletes. Participants can compete over sprint or super-sprint distances.

Getting there:
Road: Blenheim Palace is signposted from the A34 and M40. Entrance to the event is either on the A44 Oxford-Evesham road or the A4095 Bicester-Witney road at Bladon. Blenheim is about 13km (8 miles) from Oxford's bus and train stations.
