Part of the festive celebrations in downtown Charlotte Amalie, Miracle on Main Street sees the magic of Christmas come to town with a day of entertainment and celebrations. Visitors at this time can expect live music, street performers and parties, late opening hours in the shops and even Santa himself usually makes an appearance. The Christmas lights go up in the streets and many of the boats in the harbour front are bedecked with special displays for the popular boat parade. Events begin early in the morning reaching a peak in the evening when the streets and harbour front are full of friends and families intent on having a good time
