Held over the summer in the magnificent Rumeli Hisari fortress, the open-air concerts bring some of Turkey's best-loved musicians to the stage. Situated on the European side of the city, the fortress was built in 1451 by the Ottoman Sultan Mehmed II and offers stunning views over the Bosphorus and is a great venue in which to listen to Turkish music.
