    9/03/2007 - 9/09/2007King's Cup Elephant Polo Tournament

    Hua Hin, Thailand
    Featuring some of the top horse polo players from around the world, the annual King's Cup Elephant Polo Tournament sees riders swap horses for elephants in this popular and well-supported tournament. This fun charity event is played each September in the spectacular location of Hua Hin and raises funds for the Thailand Elephant Conservation Centre. Other events and celebrations take place throughout the week

    Getting there:
    Rail: The train takes just under four hours from Bangkok
    Road: Hua Hin is about 280km (170 miles) south of Bangkok. Highway 35 (Thonburi-Pak Tho) and Highway 4 from Bangkok
    Bus: Regular services from Bangkok's southern terminal complete the journey in around four hours
    Air: SGA Scenic Airline operates up to four flights a day. Flying time around 45 minutes
