Located on the outskirts of Taipei is the picturesque town of Pingsi. Every year the town's inhabitants celebrate the annual Heavenly Lantern Festival by releasing hundreds of beautiful paper lanterns to create an incredible sea of floating lights that drift off into the evening sky. A bustling market and street entertainment also accompany the six-day event.
