The Paleo Music Festival is one of the biggest events of its kind in the country and attracts musicians and music fans from across the world. Performances take place on a number of different stages and most festivalgoers camp at the onsite camping grounds for the duration of this fun event. First held in 1976, the festival originally went under the name the First Folk Festival and then the Nyon Folk Festival before settling on its current name in 1986. The modern day festival now attracts close to 250,000 music fans during its six-day run.
