The popular Halmstad Maritime Festival is a colourful maritime event that attracts a keen mix of experienced and novice sailors as well as many non-sailors. A number of boating races and exhibitions take place in the waters in and around Halmstad Dock. In addition, a host of other activities take place on dry land including a fun fair, live music performances, parties, markets, exhibitions and food and drink stalls.
