The International Documentary Film Festival of Barcelona presents a varied programme of screenings with something for filmmakers, spectators, students and teachers alike. The festival includes a juried competition with prizes for the prestigious Docúpolis Award, Best First Documentary Award, and Gran Angular Award -TVE Catalunya for the Best Short Documentary film. The documentaries are presented in the great ambience of the Center of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona and each year presents a varied selection of challenging and engaging films.
