Part of Singapore's Chinese New Year Celebrations, the Chinese New Year Street Bazaar is a colourful spectacle that sees the streets of Chinatown taken over with a melee of stalls selling everything from traditional ornaments to clothing. But many people visit the bazaar to sample some of the many food and drink items on sale at the numerous food stalls. The bazaar is open every evening in the three weeks leading up to Chinese New Year.
