Chinatown is ablaze with colourful light displays in the weeks leading up to the big day and is a great place to soak up the excitement of the festivities. On the New Year's Eve things really heat up with huge crowds turning out to watch the spectacle and countdown to midnight after which the partying continues into the small hours
