The event is celebrated 27 September each year and is a chance for the entire Seychelles tourism community to come together to promote the many wonders of the destination. While most events take place on the 27th, others run on for up to a week afterwards. Visitors can take their pick from guided walks and informative lectures to more hands-on experiences such as snorkelling and boat trips. It is also a great opportunity to sample some of the region's fine culinary specialties ranging spicy fish curries to beautiful fresh fruit salads.
