Although New Year's Eve celebrations take place throughout the country, the ones in Krakow are amongst the best in Poland. The historical Old Town around Rynek Glowny is the focus of the celebrations and the streets are filled with revellers. Music keeps everyone entertained and the city's pretty Grand Square becomes a dance floor. After midnight, many opt to continue the partying through into the small hours in the city's many clubs and bars.
