crafts is available in shops; alternatively, visitors can buy directly from
villagers. Favorite buys include local
carvings of ceremonial masks and statuettes from Angoram and the Sepik,
Buka basketry, arrows, bows and decorated axes, crocodile carvings from the Trobriands, pottery and
local art.
