This surfcasting fishing contest, held along the spectacular length of Ninety Mile Beach, is the biggest of its type in the Southern Hemisphere, and offers more than just the chance to catch fish. Competitors also have the chance of winning big cash prizes, cars and holidays. The Snapper Classic is held over a five day period and typically attracts up to 1,000 contestants each year
