If you are highly fit and fiercely competitive, this could be fun. Male and female competitors test their skills and stamina on a long muddy course with obstacles to see who will emerge the toughest of them all. The full course is 9km (5.5 miles) in two equal laps, over an army style obstacle course. Competitors must run, walk, crawl and climb through a variety of natural and manmade obstacles including a 'Spiders Web', barbed wire (for squirming under), thick native bush, swamp crossing and water troughs. Team and individual entries are allowed, and there is also the option of a single-lap 'social' round.
