This very popular community event features harvest activities including crushing grapes for wine by foot, grinding sorghum (a type of cereal crop) with burros and stringing colourful chile ristras (wreaths of dried chillies). Visitors can buy traditional crafts from artists, try dipping candles, see soap making and taste warm bread and bizcochitos (butter cookies) from the horno (an adobe bread oven)
