This three-day equestrian event attracts the best horse riders in the world and more than 50,000 people besides, to the concours hippique at the RAI Centre. Dressage, jumping and carriage driving are the principal categories and, between competitions, entertainments are staged in the form of performances by various artists, and some spectacular shows. Eating, drinking and shopping are all well provided-for and children are offered a special afternoon event with free pony rides.
