    Celebrated by Shia Muslims in various regions throughout Morocco, Fatih Muharram is a 10-day religious festival which commemorates the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain, the grandson of the Prophet Mohammed. Hazrat was killed in the Battle of Karbala in AD680. The solemn 10-day festival ends with processions and special religious services
