The largest event of its kind in Latin America, the International Hot Air Balloon Festival sees the sky filled with hot air balloons manned by pilots from all over the world. First held in 2002 with just 27 balloons, it has quickly grown to become a popular family day out involving more than 90 balloons and over 150,000 spectators. Other attractions include a parachute display, zoo, rodeo competition and fireworks display.
