    National specialties:
    Braai (a southern African barbecue).
    • Seafood and freshwater fish.
    • Cooking styles include French, Italian, Continental and Chinese.

    National drinks:
    • Good beer is widely available and better establishments will have a good choice of beers, spirits and wines.

    Tipping:
It is customary in restaurants and hotels to give a tip as a reward for good service.

    Nightlife
Some hotels and restaurants have live entertainment. There are also several cinemas in Maseru and there are casinos at the two major international hotels.
