Established in 1994, the Al Bustan Festival is a winter music festival which each year presents a rich and homogeneous programme focused around a special theme that celebrates the culture of a particular country or a city, or some other special subject. Many international artists have performed at the festival over the years. As well as concerts and recitals, there are master classes and workshops with the participating artists at the National Conservatoire in Beirut and other institutions across Lebanon. A visual arts exhibition is also organised to coincide with the festival.
