The annual Siena International Short Film Festival introduces audiences to a packed programme of films by filmmakers from all over the world. Providing a showcase for the brightest young talent, this popular festival is well-attended by those in the film industry and is seen as a launch pad to greater successes for many filmmakers. A number of prizes are awarded to filmmakers in various different categories. In addition to the film screenings, there are also interviews with directors, Q&A sessions with filmmakers, exhibitions as well as a good entertainment programme for each evening.
