Each year thousands of film students and professionals from Italy and across the world travel to Siena in Tuscany for the Terra di Siena Film Festival. Boasting an eclectic screening programme that includes films from all over the world, the festival also includes a complete retrospective about an author, a filmmaker or an actor. Founded in 1996, the Terra di Siena Film Festival is dedicated to independent filmmaking and is one the most important film festivals in Central Italy.
