Jerusalem,
Israel
Christians from all over the world travel to the ancient city of Jerusalem to celebrate Christmas Day in this incredible city, surrounded by so many biblical sites. Perhaps the most famous of them all is the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, which is believed to have been the site of Jesus' crucifixion. Other biblical sites in the city include the Church of John the Baptist, Via Dolorosa, the Garden Tomb, the Condemnation Chapel, the Chapel of Flagellation, the Grotto of the Apostles and Mary's Tomb. Numerous churches and religious sites in Jerusalem hold services throughout Christmas Day and for some a visit is an incredibly spiritual event. One of the world's most significant religious cities, Jerusalem is important to all three main monotheistic religions - Christianity, Judaism and Islam
