For two months in winter, Dublin's RDS Arena close to the city centre is turned into a winter playground with popular attractions including an ice rink and the magical Santa's Polar Palace. Open to novices and experts alike, the ice skating rink measures 14,000 sq ft (1,300 sq metres) and is the largest in Europe. Other attractions include Dave's Jungle, an indoor tropical area that allows visitors to learn more about the planet and its animals, and Ice on Decks, a club night on the ice rink set to the sounds of modern music played by DJs. With fun and games for young and old, this is one of Dublin's most popular festive attractions that draws visitors from all over Ireland.
