Fans of traditional Irish music and song will be enthralled and entertained as both are a constant backdrop at this festival of fun and games specially organised for the young and young at heart. The event also doubles as a charity fundraiser for The Lifeboats Service (RNLI) and other worthy causes. Highlights over the long weekend include sumo-wrestling, the infamous Hole-in-One, a Karaoke competition, Comedy Night and plenty of up-and-coming musical acts. Built in the 1820s, Roundstone is one of the most beautiful and unspoilt harbour villages found on the west coast of the Atlantic amid the ruggedness of Connemara.

Air: Nearest airport is Galway 77km (48 miles)
Road: Approximately 300km (187 miles) west of Dublin; 77km (48 miles) west of Galway. From Galway take the N59 towards Clifden, turn left onto R341 5km (3 miles) after Recess village. Continue on to Roundstone village. Alternatively, you can take the coast road from Galway (R336) until you come to Roundstone
