Featuring some of the best comedians from Ireland and beyond, the renowned Cat Laughs Comedy Festival is the biggest event of its kind in Ireland. With past performers including such well-known comedians as Bill Bailey and Lucy Porter, this popular five-day festival attracts a hardened crowd of hecklers and comedy fanatics from all over the world. It's also a great environment to see new and emerging comedy talents. In addition to traditional stand-up comedy acts, the festival also includes a programme of comedy films ranging from short animations to sitcoms. Shows are individually priced and take place at various venues throughout Kilkenny.
