Taking place in the stunning region of Guci, the Ruwat Bumi Ceremony is a thanksgiving process during which the rural farming communities offer their thanks for bountiful crops. Guci is a fabulous mountain resort that lies about 33km (20 miles) from Tegal and is famed for its natural hot springs. Needless to say, it provides a stunning location for this traditional festival and ceremony that includes a programme of cultural performances, traditional displays and food and drink displays
