The three-day Desert Festival is an incredible spectacle that includes a whole raft of cultural events and celebrations. The event is hosted in the incredible "Golden City" of Jaisalmer, which provides a mesmerising backdrop for a festival of traditional music, folk dancing, food and drink stalls, camel racing, craft bazaars and other cultural and artistic performances. This is a colourful spectacle that attracts crowds from across the state as well as many international visitors. Other attractions in Jaisalmer include the Fort, Patwon-ki-Haveli, the Tazia Tower and the picturesque Gadsisar Lake
