WarningMost visits to Guadeloupe are trouble-free but you should be aware of the global risk of indiscriminate international terrorist attacks, which could be against civilian targets, including places frequented by foreigners.
Although the risk from crime is also low, it does exist and travelers should take normal common-sense precautions.
The hurricane season in Guadeloupe normally runs from June to November.
