Main AirportsGibraltar (GIB) (North Front) is 1km (0.6
miles) north of the town center.
To/from the airport: A bus to the center departs regularly throughout the day. Return is from the Market Place bus stop. Bus 3 also goes to the airport. Taxis and courtesy coaches are available. The airport is only a 10-minute walk from the city center.
Facilities: Restaurants, banks/bureaux de change, tourist information, duty-free shops and car hire.
Getting There by WaterMain port: The port of

Many international
cruise ships stop in Gibraltar. There is a regular
ferry service to Tangier, Morocco as well as a
catamaran service running from the ferry terminal to Tangier (journey time – 75 minutes).
Getting There by RailNo railway systems operate in Gibraltar; however, the neighboring towns of San Roque and Algeciras, in Spain, are only a few minutes’ drive away and are both serviced by the national rail network of Spain,

Getting There by RoadThe only international land access is the frontier with Spain at La Linea.
OverviewThe following goods may be taken into Gibraltar without incurring customs duty:
• A reasonable quantity of tobacco products, alcoholic beverages and perfume for personal use.
Internal Travel:Getting Around by RoadTraffic drives on the right.
Bus: There are good local bus services operating at frequent intervals.
Taxi: There are plenty of taxis and the driver is required by law to carry and produce on demand a copy of the taxi fares.
Car hire: Both self-drive and chauffeur-driven cars are available. Touring outside Gibraltar can also be arranged.
Regulations: The speed limit is 50kph (31mph), except where otherwise indicated. Seat belts are compulsory and it is compulsory to drive with dipped headlights at night.
Documentation: Third Party insurance is compulsory. Valid national driving licenses are accepted. A certificate of registration is required. Vehicles must have a national number plate.
