Held each November, the Atlanta Marathon and Half Marathon attract athletes from all over the world. The 40km (26.2 miles) Marathon begins outside the Turner Field Stadium in downtown Atlanta and the Half Marathon begins at the midway point on Peachtree Road. Spectators line the route creating a great atmosphere for runners and spectators alike.
