An unusual event that really has to be seen to be believed, the King Mango Strut Parade is a tongue-in-cheek affair whose sole goal is to make sure everyone lets their hair down and has a good time. Proud of its rather anarchic reputation, the parade includes a lively cast of musicians, dancers, jugglers and decorated floats. First held back in 1982, the King Mango Strut Parade evolved as the twisted offspring of the city's more serious Orange Bowl Parade and is a popular family day out for many in the city
