A skating session on the beautiful outdoor rink in the Natural History Museum gardens is a wonderfully pastime that will get even the most hardened Scrooge in the Christmas spirit. There is also a junior rink for younger skaters and several sessions each year are set aside especially for wheelchair users. A team of ice marshalls are also on hand to lend advice and assistance for anyone that needs it. There is also a great Christmas Fair close by selling everything from handcrafted glassware, ceramics and candles to tasty Christmas food items and children's clothes and toys

Bicycle: Cycle parking facilities at the Cromwell Road entrance, on the east lawn next to the Garden Kiosk
Road: Driving to the museum is not easy and parking is expensive; there is limited meter parking on Exhibition Road
